I am the owner of Strawco Building. After completing 2 years of an Engineering degree and a Diploma of Information Technology, I realised my true passion lay in working with my hands.

I completed a Carpentry apprenticeship and Certificate 3 in General Construction in 2008 at Holmsglen Tafe.

In 2010 I completed a Certificate 4 in Building and Construction with the Master Builders of Victoria and obtained my Domestic Builders Registration in 2011.

I have over 20 years’ experience in residential building work, specialising in renovation projects in the inner South Eastern suburbs. I am a hands on builder, which allows me more control over timelines, quality and outcomes. I am experienced working in peoples occupied homes and endeavor to minimise disruption to your home life. As part of this, I have invested heavily in dust extraction, HEPA air purifiers and dust barriers to contain dust within the work area.

 
I can provide a fixed fee quote for a defined scope and use Master Builders Association of Victoria contracts. A Home Warranty Insurance Policy is provided through VMIA, when required.

Only a registered builder can perform domestic building work that costs more than $10,000 in total and when providing more than one type of building work (such as plastering and painting) that costs more than $10,000 in total.

Your home is your most important asset and building work is highly skilled work. My recommendation is to only put it in the hands of a registered builder as anyone else, doesn’t know what they don’t know.
